About Us

My name is Tony Louis and I took over the Homebrewing Centre in 1990, having been a brewer myself for many years.  (Take a look at a picture of my shop in Keynsham, near Bristol.) The business was established in 1981. I had taken early retirement, and it seemed an ideal time to combine business with pleasure, and it has proved to be a great pleasure.

I have two members of staff, Sheila, who has been with me for three years and is herself a country wine maker, and Keith, who was a regular customer, joined us eighteen months ago.

All of us are here to help and advise you and no query is too basic for our assistance. Some of the more exotic conundrums may take a little longer!
