About Us

We sell an extensive line of beer kits and wine kits including popular brands such as Muntons Beers, Beaverdale Wines, Coopers Beers and Cantina Wines, as well as hops and grains. We also sell a full range of home brewing equipment including cider presses, beer hydrometers, heating equipment, Harris filters, buckets and barrels, wine and beer yeasts and chemicals.

My name is Tony Louis and I took over the Homebrewing Centre in 1990, having been a brewer myself for many years.  (Take a look at a picture of my shop in Keynsham, near Bristol.) The business was established in 1981. I had taken early retirement, and it seemed an ideal time to combine business with pleasure, and it has proved to be a great pleasure.

I have two members of staff, Keith who has been working for me for 3 years and who was a regular customer with vast experience, and Tom who has recently joined me and is an experienced beer and wine brewer.

All of us are here to help and advise you and no query is too basic for our assistance. Some of the more exotic conundrums may take a little longer!
