- Made from PET plastic - Polyethylene Terephthalate, these food grade bottles are ideal for storing all types of liquids and drinks, both still and carbonated. Their ability to withstand high internal pressure make them ideal for secondary fermenting when beer and wine making. They are also a safe bet when making elderflower champagne, where the fermentation pressure after bottling is unpredictable, making thin glass bottles a little risky
- These are not suitable for very hot or boiling liquids as this will cause the plastic to distort, so if you need to sterilise these we recomend using vinclasse cleaner steriliser with luke warm water
- the bottles are supplied as standard with gold plastic screw caps, which have a tamper evident ring that remains on the neck of the bottle when the cap is first unscrewed. These caps can be reused but replacements are also available from us in packs of 12
